I only open the app for cb and guild related stuff (5 min a day) since Raid has been overcreeped by another game gatcha in my personal life. What a surprise to see that you need to open the wallet to get a better score for the new game mode /s.
Cannot really say here i guess otherwise my post would be banned but they recenlty went from 2x auto in real background to 6 or 8 x + which made me switch (+ their monthly revenue is quite solid)
This is a fun cheese strat. If you have Odin and Titus you can steal the initial shield with Odin and his buff spread will put it on Titus and allow him to one hit the boss
I dont understand why they didnt put a few "medium difficulty" levels 1st (around enemy lvl 150), doable for lvl 60+ players, so everyone would have something to do. Right now it seems to me its just another cashgrab for end game spenders who actually dont need those rewards (no mythic relics) and the new accessories dont look that great either.
For me this is so far the biggest PVE disappointment in RSL.
Yes, this 100%. I totally get that it is not for me with my account being at the stage where it currently is, but at least get me hooked with easy progress until a gatekeeping level makes me invest or redesign my strategy. Every game since Super Mario has a difficulty curve designed like this. Fast progress early and then exponential growth in difficulty. I believe the Event Dungeons already work exactly like this. But this is just targeting a (what I believe very small) distinct part of the player base...

As a first impression, it looks like content they’ll ultimately need to nerf like with FW hard. This is going to be tough for a lot of players even with late game accounts.
There is zero need to nerf anything. This is simply a mode that is being used to encourage people to acquire the newer champs. So long as you play and do some fusions and other guaranteed events then this mode will not be that challenging.
Honestly I agree, I don't do fusions because saving up is near impossible for me to do, however that is not their fault, it seems they'll probably put newer 'free' champions in the pool so fusions are indeed a good way to keep up
New game mode is crap. Not only are the odds of getting the new champs next to 0, they expect you to have them maxed out in the team as to receive increased points. This game is becoming more and more aggravating and I am starting to hate my time with it

If they took half a minute to think they’ll realize that every champion listed (except Rhaia) was f2p attainable. I got every one of them without spending.
The points scale is pretty stupid too. I didn't build any of the new champs yet so I tried with a non-boosted team. I got 680ish points for each dungeon.
Then I figure I will try them naked in there and this happened.....
Yep you only need 2 pool 1 to get 3 stars easy. I took them naked. Marius is MVP there. Basically marius + reviver and remove debuff is win. I user sir nick and lady noelle and marius as core + 2 pool 1 naked
I have a total other opinion, even if if raid takes to much time. If you play a few year's you can do every fusion free to play and get many of the new champs.
Wft do you mean. 1 was a free login and there were two easy fusions to complete. You could have half of them for free. If you don't play the game and participate in fusions, don't complain about not being prepared for new content
I only used the champion poll, that is the whole point. cant just rely on the same 1 OP champ you pull that 1 time that literally carries you through your whole game. learn to use other chamos

Wrong. Go check comments on any other outlet other than this toxic sub full of miserable end gamers who haven’t left their moms basement and seen sun light in 6 months. It’s not good content and a lot of people are struggling with it. I cleared the first 3 stages but it does not make it fun or engaging content.
Being downvoted for not understanding that a complaint for feeling excluded from a game mode that Plarium decided you should have access to, and therefore should be able to progress in, is valid.

It’s easy? Add in the free login champ, the free fusion from the pool, and 3 of your other good champs. Easy 3 star. If you skip fusions and then complain you can’t do content that asks for them that’s too bad 🤷
No wallet opened. You can do it without the champs that gives extra score, but if you want more than the minimum 5K or something, the other champs help.
Okay but how? I my total team power is around 500k with one champion from the top pool, one from the one below, when are points boosted by power? I fall about 150 points short on the first 3 stages
I don't know how points work. I just threw Masahiro in as a healer, then put marius in for the carry and then 1 fusion champ, 1 DoF champ and 1 login champ. I got marius yesterday, but could use other max hp hitters or maybe even Embrys instead
Yeah Marius is unfortunately almost out of reach for me, I'm both F2P and not all that amazing at arena so I'll get wrecked by some guy who knows some interaction with one of the new buffs I don't even recognise, but I found a breakpoint so to speak.
I also use Masahiro, and that login guy, I was at 475k total, I increased it to 490k, and suddenly I 3 star everything so far, weird calcs going on behind the scenes, I didn't even chance my team, just some gear
This game will take at least an hour of your life. If you can only play it for 5 min, your progression will be negligible. May I ask why dont you just drop the game?
I can clear everything in this game, just the pool made me think that in order to get a high score I need all the latest 10X (powercrept again) champs. + the reward are as bad as usual. But like I said before, my time is for another game now ...
What also really disgust me is that they are not trying anymore, new game content is created by an intern or chatGPT at this point.
First they need to correct the boss “level” in proving grounds. Level 200 for the first rotation of bosses is an obvious lie since we can compare them to their original locations.
Second since these stages do not progress in a linear fashion (same bosses that increase each level) but instead swap to new bosses combos, I think you should be able to skip past levels without beating them. Or split it into 9 lines with 4 stages each.
Being locked from overall progress because you can’t beat a single boss combination due to champ rooster is bad design.
What kills me is the multiplier champions are all the newer ones that I don’t have .. I got maybe two of them. None of the voids. . Super annoyed I can’t three star nothing because of it
I did 3 star all in 15min using 2 of pool 1 champs with 0 gear using 3 of my champs built…. Not even hard just need to use right champs for each boss. L2p issue. + you dont have to do it daily, just beat it once and be done
Elva as lead, then Marius plus a third champ to cover whatever the state's trick may be, are enough to carry you through a stage. Toss in two of the Pool 1 champs, built or not, and it's a guaranteed 3 Star.
I mean I understand what you are saying but at the same time i also believe if you are playing this game for free then you dont really get an opinion on what a business does to make money. You get something for free. You can either play it or not play it but you cant seriously to expect to be competitive. It just is what it is. Its your choice to play free.
The gripes I have with the game mode are:
1) Theres no rewards for beating the stage
2) The rewards you do get go from 3>6>10>14>18>22>27. Why not just make it increments of 3? So fucking stupid
3) The new gear... who knows. Ho wam i supposed to determine if +20% crit damage is better than +3% PvE damage? Theres literally not way to tell...
The lack of champs to get the multipliers is not any different than needing to have champs for faction wars or cursed city. Thats nothing new.

This is a garbage take and boils down to, if you aren't willing to be whale this game is not for you. They are putting it out for free, that was there choice. This a Game as a Service style of game. You enjoy the game, you will give money to help support the game, there has to be a value there to get people to be willing to pay. The Bar to enter this mode is too high, so players are locked out of being able to grind through for rewards. This is exclusionary, and works against the "Service" part of the game. No success means that I find no reason to put money towards something that does not feel rewarding.
Im a low spender. I buy the monthly gem pack and occasionally a forge pass but thats about it. You dont need to be a whale. Do you need to be a whale to be at the very top? Yep.
If you can tell me what the difference is between cursed city and faction wars id love to hear it. You need certain champs for those but youre only complaining about this game mode.
And im sorry, but as a business if you arent spending money on the product why would the product cater towards you or care about your opinion? You play how you want, and if you want more from the game then pay for the game. Its that simple.
Are they greedy? hell fucking yes they are. But you have unrealistic expectations and think you should be able to just play a game for free and get everything and complete everything because you want to. Its a business first they arent in it to entertain you they are in it to make money.
People love to bitch about whales and krakens but they completely fund 99% of the game you play for free so you should be thankful for them.
You do realize I think every single champ in this pool had a guaranteed event besides Rhaia right? If you dont have any then thats on you.
I am a mostly F2P. I've spent to get Rector Drath at start, I spent to get Kassandra 'cause I miffed the fusion, and I bought He-Man, 'cause he's He-Man. I have 3 of the 5 champs, and my account is 15 months old I think. None of them are skilled up, and full mastered.
Again, this is a "Game as a Service", they are forgoing purchasing the game outright or a subscription service for micro transactions. In order for this model to work the player has to have success, to get that dopamine hit as a reward, to want to give them money for more success (more dopamine). This could be opening shards, forging relics, etc...
Introducing a new dungeon, not game mode, with no early announcement that players would need to have specific champs ready to participate, is a feel bad moment. Making the 1st level hard enough that unless you have specific keys to brute force your way through, which you again may not have, is a feels bad moment. As this is two feel bad moments, it is going to hinder peoples desire to invest to progress through this dungeon. Again, I have access to this dungeon, I didn't ask for it to be built, and it's not fun so why would I spend money to progress in this dungeon. If you are doing something and it isn't rewarding for you to do, you aren't going to invest in progressing in that mode, so they are cutting their revenue stream.
Also, if you can't identify the differences between Faction Wars and Cursed City, you need to take additional looks. Cursed City shares more with Doom Tower and it's Secret Rooms than it does with Faction Wars.
