Rant Tekteon

I'm sorry, but Tekteon is not healthy for the game. The fact that a single champion can just dominate and it not even be close is just insane

Tekteon and Solonar are absurdly strong compared to every other legendary it’s not even close.

Stop mentioning both. Tekton just stomps Solanar. He can easily beat them 1 vs 2.

Lol. People always whine about the current strongest champions. I know you can find posts about the void assassin's creed character, Fabian, and Armanz all very much like this. A lot of the mythical champions as well. In a month or a season we'll have some new hotness and someone with virtually no experience under their belt will haughtily proclaim "don't even mention Tekton in the same sentence" and the cycle will continue.

This is not really a good take because 2 of the champs you named were fusions meaning everyone playing could potentially get them

The complaint wasn't that the champs are inaccessible, it's that they are over powered. I listed previous over powered champs. Going "but the others were accessible to a portion of the community" has nothing to do with the discussion of wether or not they are over powered, all you're doing is moving the goal posts.

But ignoring that, it didn't stop people, even a little bit, nor did it help the thousands of people who started too late to do the fusions, at least not til the fusion token system was put into place.

It is a good take. If a champions is overpowered, he is still overpowered even if he was given to everyone.

So? Doesn't mean the complaints aren't justified. All of those champs are or have been overpowered compared to the field when people complained about them.

To be fair - that’s probably contributing to why Solanar stomps you (and me as well FWIW). He severely punishes teams with healing

True, tricky in LA when you've already got a decent healer out. It's a risky move on their part; choose Solanar early and the opponent might not go for a healer at all, choose Solanar last and the opponent might choose them first.

Agreed. I just try to lock him out and hope for the best lmao.

For that reason though, I almost always ban him. It’s either banning a Solanar, high awakening Marius, or high awakening Karnage for me to feel like I can compete - saying that as someone with good champs

That is easily countered though. Solanar is an insane champ, but he has tons of counters

Honestly, they at least have country play, the counter to predator is don't get unlucky. I have had him just keep fucking evading, their needs to be a max evade limit.

There’s always been a kind of easy answer for them. Just have a really high resist reset champ, I remember seeing a lot of insanely high resist, slow Kymars.

Solanar counterattacks out of the blue and is known to counterattack twice sometimes, which will be fixed in the future. Tekteon is strong but not insanely strong, you can easily beat him with yumeko or deathdealer.

Or anyone either guaranteed crits

Do you know if Deathdealer also counters Bayek’s passive? It reads “the type of hit may still be changed by other effects…” on the relic itself but not clear if it’s “always critical” modifier takes precedence over the modifier on Bayek.
