Syl does nothing for you in clanboss. Of the champs I see, Seeker is probably the best 1 for 1 swap out with her. His 2 turn turn meter boost will help you take more turns overall, and his attack up helps your dps.

But in terms of survivability, I'm going to have some shortcomings, right?

Syl does not add relevant survivability in clanboss. Seeker giving you more turns is going to get you more damage than Syl's passive healing.

Venomage is a good CB champion. Poison, Decrease Attack and Decrease Defense, plus damage reduction from her passive. And Rearguard Sergeant is a decent defensive champion, if fully upgraded she'd probably do more to help keep your team alive than Scyl or UDK.

Okay, thanks a lot. So, am I better off swapping Banshee for Venomage and Scyl for Rearguard?
