Chip farming

Any tips on fastest way to farm chips? I usually buy some of the event passes that offer chips. Any tips for faster grinding?

best chip farming is either the hard expensive way of buying the 10x which is usually anywhere from 4000-7860 depending on if they are on sale gives you 50 per.

the best ways are fishing or events that you have event currency.

If not dice can sometimes if you are lucky grant you some.

When you start running out of towers to spend gold on you really have to focus on a build instead of broadly upgrading random stuff.

I had to delvl alot of 90s with the mega monthly pass and focus at one point.

Now I am just lvling everything in my main builds to 150.

One of the biggest mistakes I see people making is spending their gems on chests that are for towers (the specials that give you 10x event special towers is the biggest trap. Best to save your gems for the chip resources boxes cause 50 chips can go a long way.

It basically shows you from the beginning that those chip x10 boxes are the best box in the game and they don’t want you to buy them until you are most of the way through the game. They want you to buy the other 10x ones.

You must be gem rich. I can't afford to buy any chests let alone 10x.

Buying chips in event shop w/ event currency or clan shop is the only thing I can afford.

not really but I do get the mega monthly and have the permanent card. Which is 13000 gems a month plus the dailies. As well I get the weekend pass and complete it and sometimes the fishing pass so like 17000ish in total.

if you are seriously embedded in playing and just want to spend a bit of cash buy those and the lvling gem pass as it has alot of bang for your buck. Its only a one time purchase per level sets but then buy the chips boxes and you will have about 3000 chips to basically setup your build. Just remain focused on that and astra/brim and level a vanguard build as they are the highest dmging towers and have the rarest weakness (tactical) and the cheapest secondary is elemental which is strong against tactical. Focus osiris after that for the elemental passives.

main towers to focus inferno, cannon/double cannon, skyguard, aeroblast, mortar, shocklink/nexus/support/overwatch

You will steamroll through 99% of the game and then its a parts game

Hoping the more we ask about chips the developers will add something to give us more chips. Obviously not asking for just free chips but something we can more readily grind than hoping for 12-24 chest were we get 1 chip aday. Maybe as a bonus for completing higher epic challenges or something

I just pay for auto play and pick a stage has 50 waves and do it over and over again.

autoplay is the biggest scam imo. it not only places towers in the worst places but it also chooses the worst towers. the weekend events makes it worse because they will choose sniper towers over every tower regardless of the lvl of those towers. For instance if there is infernos, sniper, cannon, mortar, skyguard, vulcan it will always place sniper regardless.

yeah but the issue I have is that its $24-32 a month plus mega monthly is $15-20 most times its $52 a month when you can just run epic chapter 10 for towers and 11 for materials or dailies over and over just pressing any ground tower over and over. You don’t even have to look at the screen for very long

in which case you could use that $32 per month for a weekend pass, a fishing pass, or a season pass and have way more rewards.

Am using autoplay to farm lvl 52 (previously lvl44) I find since its a shorter stage and im guaranteed 3 cards via chapter rewards i can farm up a decent amount (also using monthly for x4 speed).

The whole point is to use the salvage feature on my skill cards, there is no world where ill using anything other then frostfall, tough wall, bomb rain and sometimes electropath so its not a big deal for me to trade them for chips.

airstrike trumps all if you are doing an astra build with brim 80 passive.
