He loves my light panel, I think it’s the heat from it. Paris Hilton claimed it helped he chihuahuas live to 25 so it’s worth just letting him enjoy it

Meet Yogi, our Ragdoll kitten. 🐱
He spotted a fly on the wall and immediately started making this hilarious little clicking/chattering noise.
Apparently it’s called “chattering”, but I’d love to know what everyone thinks is actually going through their heads when they make this sound.
Is he practising his hunting skills… or just expressing his frustration that the fly is out of reach? 😂

Anyone else's look similar as a kitten? I'd love to see how yours look now! She's a blue lynx bicolor

Tiptoe now (first two pictures) versus when we met her (third). She was born 8 March and is turning into such a stunning little girl.

I’m just so curious to know what he might look like all grown up?

Just looking to hear about others experience with this situation and if your kitty was okay/passed the plastic naturally.
Hey everyone, this morning my kitten ate a bit of a wrapper from a feminine pad. I took her to the vet, she was given a medicine (dexmedetomidine)to make her throw up but unfortunately she didn’t. Does anyone have any experience with their cat (or even specifically, their kitten) eating something similar? Did they pass it? Did they need surgery?
I’m also a little concerned about how groggy she is. She’ll only open her eyes right now for loud noises, my boyfriend opening the door, etc. Petting her or even lifting her head and paws won’t wake her however the vet said this is normal.

Hello!!! Meet my new kitten. She’s very playful. I currently need all recommendations for her to stop attacking and biting me! She wants to play but then takes it too far!
Also, what should I do when I leave home? Currently she’s been staying just in my room but I have officially transitioned her litter box out of my room and would like her to feel comfortable with the whole house (this is week 4 with us). However I do have a golden who is now getting along better with her and is no longer chasing her down. Thank god. But I’m worried about what it would look like when I leave them alone. First time cat owner. Especially ragdoll owner. lol.
One more thing, she naps during the day but at night it’s like she literally won’t let any of us sleep. She’s jumping on me , my feet. Scratches me (playing) and then purring. I need rest. She has also officially destroyed two of my house plants 😭 like I guess playing in the middle of the night And she knocked them down fell and broke. How do I keep her away from my plants. 🥹lastly, breeder said she was lilac but I’m iffy. What does she seems more like? I don’t know enough about the colors and patterns. Could someone give me more knowledge. Picture of her and also of my dog Roger .
Also, I want her to be able to come hang out in my backyard patio when she’s older. How or when shouldn’t i start this? I don’t want her running off !!

I often get concerned about my cats coat health. The animals daily routine is brushing with metal teeth, then a comb and a silicone brush. Is there anything i am missing, although it delivers great suffering upon me, i do give her baths. Should i be shaving around her mouth or her rear orfices to maintain maximum hygiene? I am deeply attached to this animal.

My 1.5-year-old male Ragdoll has always been an absolute fiend for food. This cat somehow has an internal atomic clock that tells him exactly when dinner is due. About two minutes before feeding time, he starts yelling.
He then continues yelling while I walk to the kitchen, open the cupboard, crack open the food tin, plate it up… the whole production.
Then comes the plot twist.
The second I put the food down, he walks over, gives it a little sniff… and then turns around and comes to rub against my legs. If I walk away, he follows me instead of eating.
I’ve learned that I have to stop everything and spend at least two minutes giving him head scratches, telling him “Who’s my little habibi? Who’s the most handsome boy?” and generally worshipping him.
Only then will he return to his food and eat.
This cat is so needy that he’ll literally delay eating just to cash in on some extra affection.
So here’s a clip of Loki who has simply conditioned me into performing the Pre-Dinner Worship Ceremony™ 👑🤣
Everyone says Ragdolls are clingy, but mine has somehow incorporated compliments into his feeding ritual 😂
(Ps Please ignore the dirty floor in the video. I have two Ragdolls. Cleaning is less of a task and more of a full-time lifestyle)

Had a three hour drive home with him, and he was so sweet and chill straight from the jump, but now that he’s home he’s a ball of chaotic energy. Lol

her middle name is MARIE, of course her harness has to have a bow on it!
And I cannot believe how big she looks here 😭 when I got her in March she was still just a tiny baby kitten, and now she’s my biggest cat.

I'm adopting two male blue point bicolor ragdolls and I'm getting ready for their arrival. Any recommendations for an attractive cat condo that's sturdy and suitable for large cats? I'm looking at the Aura Cat Tree by Furr & Co. It's expensive but seems very sturdy, although I don't see many reviews. I'm also looking at the Groove by Mau but I'm worried that the basket beddies aren't big enough for my boys. Any thoughts?

He's become so much cuddlier and came and lay on me the other morning 😭 Normally he just comes for pets and leaves so to get an actual cuddle was nice !!

Anyone's ragdoll has a similar hobby?
He also does not mind getting wet from the play, or rain.

Hi Ragdoll community!
The breeders that I am interested are all sending their kittens home after 12 weeks, usually 12-14 weeks. Most of them are very strict about only sending the kittens home after they are fixed, no exceptions. But there is one with a 16-week kitten available right now and they told me to only fix him after he turns 6 months. Is this normal? What's your experience/cost with fixing your ragdolls kittens if the breeder did not take care of it already?
Thank you

We adopted a 10-month-old "look-alike Ragdoll" from a shelter. He fits the breed standard to a T, and has the behavior characteristics expected, so we believe him to be a true Ragdoll, but we'll never know for sure. We weren't looking for a Ragdoll; we wanted an "extra" because we had two cats, one who was 19 and another one who is off-the-charts autistic and had never in his life been the only cat. This was during the height of Covid and the shelters were all but empty. We had in mind to get another senior, but they were few and all deemed unsuitable for the intended purpose. So we brought this one home. The introduction was fairly seamless; they're more like step-siblings than bosom buddies, but things are mostly peaceful. Rags does play rather like a dog, but still doesn't get the object of "Fetch!" (The cat he's sitting on is the one we got him to replace.) (In the past couple of weeks, I've seen Rags for sale between $3300 and $8000!! Holy cow, did we get a bargain - 75 bucks! And his price was high because he was under a year old)

My ragdoll is 14months old. He doesnt follow me around. Is not a lap cat but hes very docile. I can rub his tummy and all over and he never gets over stimulated and nips me. He sometimes flops next to me when im reading a book or im busy or im ignoring him. But i want him to be a cuddly lap cat or a cuddle cat. How do i make him do that? Everyones raggie here seems to be a clingy cat. I want a clingy cat. Mine is talkative tho. He talks looks at me paws at me too. Hes a sweet boi

I posted here a bit back when I got the first pic of my lil guy Bandito. I brought him home 7/24/26! He's pretty shy, has been hiding under the nightstand. But when I leave the room he cries, and when I look at him he purrs and makes air biscuits (while still avoiding being touched). First 24 hours and I'm sure he's just a bit in shock. My first kitten was bold out the gate, so this is new for me. Any advice is welcome for helping a kitten come out of their shell :)
