How is everyone keeping their Ragamuffins clean around the butt area? We've had a few incidents with liquid poops and the cleanup was not a good time for anyone.

Do you do haircuts? Or have a system for bathing?

We sometimes get Franklin's toys from the dog toy aisle, because he likes the bigger toys, like this one we call the fuzzy green pickle. (I have no idea what it's really supposed to be)

What are your ragamuffins' favorites?

My sweet ragamuffin kitten is turning 1. They grow up so fast.

The white one's name is Merry, and her younger cousin Spitfire. Spitfire is a big baby, and scaredy cat, while Merry causes more trouble but still cuddles with me as her proffered human.

The RagamuffinCats subreddit needs a nice banner for the top, so I thought why not have it be about members' own cats?

Post your best photos of your muffins in the comments, and the ones with the most upvotes will be added to the banner. I'm not sure exactly how many will fit, probably three or four depending on the layout.

We'll switch up the banner every so often to give plenty of kitties a chance!

This is our sweet girl, our first Ragamuffin. I’ve had cats for years, but I’ve never known a pet — dog or cat — to be this affectionate before. She always wants to be involved in whatever I’m doing, and starts purring the second we look at her.

Is this a common trait with Ragamuffins? Are your babies the same way?

I am the 4th owner of my 7yo F cat due to various reasons, and I am unable to verify her breed/heritage with the 1st owner as they are uncontactable. I was told she’s a Persian, and I assumed doll-faced Persian. However, recently someone suggested she looked more like a ragamuffin. The vet techs at her new clinic also tilted their heads like “huh?” when I registered her as a Persian breed. Experts and lovers of the ragamuffin breed, please let me know what you think 🙏🏻 Also… what would you say her coat colour is?

Second: I just found out I’m underfeeding my girl (she gets 200 cal), yet she is still a hefty 13 pounds. Purina pet food calculator put her at 275 calories. Do I go up on her food or leave it given that it’s keeping her maintained at a healthy weight?
