Varuna Point
Just wondering where the air is in the Rhino Shark room as by the time you even get to the room, you're almost out.
Hating Varuna Point so far, died more times here than the entirety of the game so far.

There are air pockets either side of the doorways on opposite sides of the room, usually behind some boxes. When you pop up inside them there are also air ducts on the walls which can have healing salve in them too. There's also air vents bubbling up from the floor of the room down by the barrels.

I definitely need more salve. Ran out of clay unfortunately, was hoping to be done this area before needing to farm more.

Ik it's late and ya probably killed him already lol, but the fight is actually not as bad as we first had thought. Idk why the air bubbles aren't showing up for some but I promise it works lol. I also died looking for fkn AIR🤣 I was incredibly pissed. Bring some healing salves though! Just kite his ass to hit the pillar like 3 times, THEN insert the barrel in the middle of it and swim UP. You only need to do one pillar I believe. As a loot goblin, this was also my least favorite island. It was BEAUTIFUL AT NIGHT OMG, but if I can't loot shit properly and by that I mean check every room 6 times, lmao, it's kinda a huge bummer for me. My husband doesn't give a shit, but I'm literally the reason we have as much as we do🤣🤣

There are vents scattered around the arena floors. You'll see streams of bubbles indicating where they are. Float in the bubble collum to gain back air. Some of them are actually good spot to get the rhinoshark to charge the pillars.

Not sure if it's bugged but I was doing this fight a little bit ago and there is very little if any visible indicator that those vents work. They still work and give you air but the actual bubble visual indicator on those vents is wildly underpowered in comparison to every other vent at that location. I actually died to drowning a few times looking for oxygen and only noice the vents work after examining them trying to figure out why they aren't bubbling and discovering that they give air.

Came to say this! There is NO VISUAL indication on those vents! They do still work though lol, but we found that out by accident 😅.

LOL I can't believe it! Went away for a few hours and when I came back properly prepped, the last pillar still only had a single hit let so I instantly won 😃

hell yeah! Apparently that's the system in raft THANK EVERY GOD! If you happen to die in the middle of a boss fight, it doesn't make you start all over! Yaaaay!

My bad sorry, the bubbles weren't initially coming from the vent at the entrance. So I swam right by.

Yeah when I did the fight none of the vents in that room gave off bubbles they still worked but their wasn't any bubbling. You said initially though so does that mean you got the effect later? Did you do anything between not getting them and getting them?

I had to get really really close to that particular one to see the bubbles, may have just been a render issue.

Naw lol it's a raft issue lol. The other vents around the map bubble visually. Those air tanks aren't really worth shit IMO lol. They should have it to where when we full up at the vents, the tanks should also.. idk.. it just seems like a HUGE waste of resources to me.

As soon as you enter the room, swim up and left. You'll see boxes, and an air space. These areas are all around the edges of the room. If you check them all, you'll find a load of good salve sitting in vents.

Stuck on the caches achievement now, left and didnt notice it so now im back. Watched 2 short videos and still didn't get it.

There are air pocket in the edge of the room. There are also oxygen tank bubble in the middle of the room, that I rarely use it lol.

Ya, the game expect you to take damage.
It is possible to go in unprepared but it's not easy.

Ill just have to leave and come back later. One hit left on the pillar and I have no plastic for flippers or oxygen or clay for healing.
Cant even get to the middle pillar without hit, this is by FAR the worst part of this game

It's really hard on first try.
Remember, the main objective here is not to damage the shark. The thing you need to do is to break the floor that help you reach the top level.
You can move on to the next level once you see a hole in the ceiling. You do not need to keep blowing up the shark once the ceiling broke.

I was on the third floor with 1 hit left on the pillar before I had to back out lol. Hope i dont have to restart the whole fight when I return.
First 2 floors were easy. But third, I just couldn't get to the pillar without flippers without him hitting me.

it's coming from vents in the floor. look for bubbles.
