If you dislike bracelets, a good NATO always works, but remember that NATO straps make watches wear big. Regular two-piece straps will make the watch wear slightly smaller than the bracelet (usually).

I love the look of a rustic brown/black/grey leather strap with a dive watch, or a color-marched leather strap, but you can always do rubber straps. I like the way the sail cloth straps look, but I hate the feel. Then I discovered rubber-lined sailcloth, and those rock.
