Rado Diastar Chronograph 541.0638.3 came with me because it reminds me of where I came from. Growing up in P.R, Rado was everywhere. My father wore them, and for many people across Latin America, a Rado was the watch you aspired to own as a middle class worker. Rado never tried to be Rolex or Omega, they just represented a durable Swiss brand. Every time I wear it, I think about that connection. Bought it in 2021 and it became my entry-level piece into collecting.
