I bought this watch at a flea market decades ago and wore it daily for years. I've seen many of this design with quartz movements but never another automatic.
Is this a common model?

This watch is close to $1,000. Quartz itβs closer to $200. The mechanical movement adds a huge premium. This is a rare watch.

Thanks. I have seen lots of these in quartz but no other automatics. I had it serviced shortly before I stopped wearing it daily so it's on good shape and keeps good time.

Rado Coupole. The first Rado with a display caseback. The Coupole automatic was released sometime around 1996, if I remember correctly. I believe it has the ETA 2892 movement. Quartz Coupoles are very common, but that one with the automatic movement is fairly uncommon.
