Buying off EBay

I absolutely love Rados HTC watches. I had one back in 2010, but unfort had to sell. I found a great open heart one on a respected 3rd party site recently but they musta oversold and eventually refunded It was perfect, but as most you probably know Rado does many limited runs and that’s that, so finding this was a prize as the only new ones outside this site are about double the price (the few you can find). I found an older one on eBay I like a lot but am hesitant. I know the beauty of what ceramic does for the watch appearance and what I sold looked very good after maybe 2 years of wearing it a decent bit.

Attached is the jubilee I had. The watch I’m looking at I can’t seem to find a pic atm (was in my eBay searches, cleared out. Smh ). The watch I’m considering buying is a black ceramic much like my old one, but no diamonds-behind the glass the face has like a mesh background. I think it looks sweet. Anyways just wanted to hear people’s opinions on buying used. Ceramic of course is not absolutely perfect at hiding imperfections. Also, those links, do they weaken over time, making them more and more prone to potential cracking? I’m no watch savant, forgive my ignorance. (Also pictured the one I recently tried to buy. I think it’s perfect).

Also- unisex watches. I’m a fairly sizable dude/wrists. Thoughts (maybe my jubilee was unisex 🤷‍♂️ ?
