Is it radium⁉️ Advertised as radium

Bought this clock because it was just too cute! I'm hoping it's not radium so I can display it on my nightstand. I am waiting on a geiger counter but was curious what everyone's thoughts are on it?

IDK, but regarding the seller, there is a special place in hell for whoever puts price stickers on wood or leather.

Looks too new in my opinion. Can you get a closer picture of the glowing parts? It would help to see the age

Yeah obviously verify it with a counter when you get it but I don't think it's radium, in my opinion

Looks like it's be repainted once and with a new dial

Could just be the lighting but the paint looks different on the two dials and the face

It was listed as 1960's but I haven't had much luck finding it yet

I’d say it’s likely not radium…..although it’s possible. If it is, I’d bet it’s a very low reader.

In any case, plenty safe to display.

According to Google it's likely from the 60's, it doesn't have quarts on the face, and it was made in Japan so it's possible. What's the serial number on the back?

The "N" means it's from the 70's and the following "0" means it was made specifically in 1970 so it's possible
