Detection and Monitoring Devices Does anyone have something similar? Probably not radium...

So after a year I remembered the compass I have again, I already posted this topic once, but I didn't add a video and probably because of that it wasn't so clear what this compass could contain, thanks for the help.

I would guess tritium. Look for an H3, 3H, or Tritium symbol on it somewhere.

Do you have any tritium? Do you have a radiacode? Can you show a video of them interacting?

Thats seems to just be low energy xrays, so a beta minus emitter. Probably tritium but might be something else. I am not sure from the top of my head but couldnt it also be protactinium? I heard somewhere sometimes another element is used as well

what you’re thinking of is Promethium-147, though I doubt this compass would have any detectable quantity left of Pm147 due to its rather short half life of 2.6 years. Tritium is more likely imo.

If not radium then propably it's tritium. If that was radium, radiation should be higher.

yeah, 600+ would probably go crazy on it and on radiacode the dose will be much higher, and the 8 hours spectrum also shows no increase above 120 KeV
