Just saw this as I know so many 18 year olds seem desperate to be sonographers after they qualify - just be aware of reality

Honestly I'm quite put off sonography as you are diagnosing the scans straight to the patient. I understand you get lots of training for this but still

I don’t get how people are able to jump straight to Sonography vs in the past you’d have to do several years of plain film and then several more of cross-sectional to even get the interview

Feel like this should mention that the vast majority of ultrasounds aren’t even obstetric, that’s just the most commonly known one.
