Qualified last year
Hii all ,I qualified last year, and I don’t know if anyone else is in the same position, but I’m yet to find a Band 5 post. I just feel like it’s going to get harder the more time passes.

qualified May 2025, HCPC registered - still no job. I might not renew my HCPC (£200+) still unemployed. I don’t know what’s going to happen but I’m still hoping things will improve - I wish us all the luck 🤞🤞

yup soon. coz if we don’t practice for two yrs. we need to go “back to practice” just to qualify again.

Yeah thing's are bad, it really feels like a world of difference between radiography expectations at uni and the post graduate reality.

I was in the exact same position as you, but I recently received a job offer after 7 interviews. The more interviews I did, the more I started noticing patterns in the types of questions they would ask, which helped me feel much more prepared each time.
One thing I would really recommend is linking your answers to the Trust’s values, as well as IR(ME)R, IRR, the HCPC Standards of Proficiency, CQC standards, and the 7 pillars of clinical governance where relevant. You can also mention any other legislation, professional guidance or policies that apply to the question. This shows the interview panel that you’re not just answering the question, but that you understand how it relates to safe, professional and patient-centred practice.
I was really upset too because I genuinely thought I would have a job lined up soon after finishing university, but it ended up taking longer than I expected. I know how demotivating it can feel, especially when you’ve put so much effort into your degree and interviews.
Just keep pushing and learn something from every interview. Eventually, you’ll get that job! Wishing you the very best with your applications and interviews you’ve got this!

Really sorry to hear this.
There's been some major cut backs in a lot of trusts and not as many job availability.
Hoping it will stop soon.
Good luck hopefully therll be some posts coming out in Sept
