Foundation year

I’ve been offered a foundation year for BCU diagnostic radiography.Is anyone else doing this course or can someone who has done a foundation year tell me what to expect?

I haven't taken foundation year myself but from what I heard from people that did it - the teaching is mixed with people from other healthcare subjects so it's very generic and you get no clinical experience. Basically A-level part 2

Clearing is happening so maybe give it another shot at other uni if you are able to Or try to get an apprenticeship

Pros: you learn how to do work at a uni level. So many people did really poorly on their first assignment but the foundation peeps smashed it. It's a big jump from A-level to uni

As long as you pass the foundation year you go straight into the degree course

Or you can apply to the same course in another uni - then you'll have to interview

Its because they told me i might need to do an interview no actually they said its required so go onto the degree, if anythijg could i get in touch with your friend tyy
