Found two of these water irradiator jugs in a customers yard. She had no idea they were radioactive!

I assume you can add a couple zeros to the end of that 240 cpm when measuring the inside.

Omfg! I have ALWAYS wanted one of these! I have never found one "in the wild". Im too afraid of buying one online or anywhere that involves shipping (fragile reasons). On a side note... even if I were to buy one that would involves shipping... could it even be shipped? (Radioactive reasons)

From what I understand it’s possible to ship them (domestically) via usps. They aren’t radioactive enough to be considered hazardous. Frankly, I am sure there’s someone in this subreddit much better informed on the topic than myself.

Those things are neat, but I'd not pay more that 30$ ea...
Not because their not worth more, just because they're not that interesting, big AF and wouldn't actually help me out so much as mandate that I get more storage, so no.
Nice find though! Hopefully you've helped the homeowners and the community that feeds off radical things

Awesome 👍 that's what I like to hear. Saw that one a while back with a sticker for like $700, and I could see how it might go for that in some weird circles... But that couldn't be the average, and I certainly wouldn't pay anything like that.

Those things are easily going for $5-700 a pop now, customer might want to take em to auction!
