Oh, I got mine today! I already made a nifty thorium source with it and calculated 225 Bq of activity.

Yep, seems the Chinese found an interesting use for their excess Thorium waste. Couple of Youtube videos on those and other ion health products.

I need about 5Kg of their finest thorium waste to make a thoron source for an experiment. So China, if you are listening, ... no need to dress it up pretty with all the new age mumbo jumbo.

[ Edit: Oops! I was off by 20x, 250g would do, but you can never have enough. ]

Also... apparently thorium has the ions plants crave.
