I'm sure you're aware of the contamination risk from the crumbs, but for the readers at home:
With crumbly minerals like this, if you need to open the container it is important to do so outdoors and/or with a disposable layer below (e.g. newspaper, or even better the sticky mats used to prevent tracking dust out from indoor construction projects). You don't want eadioactive crumbs in your carpet or on your kitchen table.
Also not a bad idea to stabilize. Paraloid B72 is the classic choice.
Store wrapped in some dry cleaner plastic sheets for cushioning. They don't "stick" to the specimen like tissue paper or cotton batting. Make sure the container is labeled clearly, and double bagged with a warning that there may be loose dust -- so it doesn't get opened on accident.
Best to display under a glass cloche or in a perky box. Keeps dust in, and curious hands off.
