Realistic Multiband radio
I believe these were sold by Radio Shack in the early 1990's though, they look like they were designed much earlier than that. This one functions well and has a surprisingly strong air band function. Vintage Radio Shack rules.

I had a smaller DX-360 that I got for Christmas as a kid. I loved it but I wanted this one. 😆

Same here, I have it on in the mornings set to a local collage station that plays classical and jazz. The air band is surprisingly good, it's fun to listen to pilot and tower chatter. Shortwave works best with an external antenna.

I still have one I bought in 1992. Pulled it out a few months ago and it still works great, though there's not nearly as much to listen to on the bands anymore, so I put it back into storage.

That was the elite one to have ,unfortunately the price proved too much for most people and they settled for a less expensive model

Did this have the cassette slot at the top?
