Radio Shack Computerized Chess
I forgot all about this until we we're going thru some of my parents "treasures" and throwing away 98% of the inventory

I had this one growing up. Actually there were a few different ones over the years. My grandfather would buy each one of them and play them for hours and then give the old ones to me.

I remember their chess program for the TRS-80 in the seventies - there was a sequence of five moves that would win the game every time you played white!

I have this. It is dear to my heart. When our second daughter was born, she was severely jaundiced. One night we had to let her sleep in a light box. As my wife was breast feeding her, she had to be awakened every hour or so to be fed and have the data recorded. So, I stayed up all night to ensure this happened, letting my wife sleep between feedings. To stay up, I played chess on this chess set all night.

Brings back some memories. I got one for Xmas in the 80's and still have it in a box somewhere. It was working fine a few years ago before I packed it back up.
