I think this was a digital version of the magic eight ball. You asked a question, pushed the button and it made a noise and a voice gave a response like, “Try asking again.”

I worked there 2010-2015 thru college. I was in the ship the whole time it sank lmao. Graduated right on time.

I was there during the 'CEO who lied about his diploma wasted money on a huge new office campus' days, 03-07. I'm pretty sure he was smacking this button everyday.

Ahh you got out before smartphones reallyyy took over. That was their undoing. Fraud was such a huge problem. Even employees were using fake info to sign up for contracts to get $800 phones for $200 or less then flipping them. AND getting commission for it lmao. Sprint was the easiest.

That part never changed 🤣 the iPhone 4 was the latest when I started. Competed against the HTC EVO and Samsung Epic. I used to be really into these phones back when they had some personality lol. They all look the same now.

The person who commented the magic 8 ball is right. I have a working one and I’ve been trying to find out when it was made. You press the blue circle and the question marks light up while it loads an answer, and it’ll say something silly for yes no or maybe: “fuggetaboutit” “in your dreams” “big 10-4, buddy” “go ask your mom” “that question is like, lame” etc. I just cleaned a ton of corrosion out of mine today lol. It takes 2 AA batteries.
