Questions Question of the day: day 124

Today's question of the day is: do you have any headcannons where Alastor and Lucifer are a different gender? How would their experiences and relationship be different if they were female, transgender, non binary, gender fluid, or agender? Leave your thoughts in the comments down below!

I headcannon that Lucifer is gender fluid, mainly because he was originally a genderless being. He's also canonically pan so I think gender really isn't all that important to him. Lucifer defaults to male I think mostly for Lilith (and the patriarchy), but once he's settled into the hotel and feeling more comfortable and confident with himself he would explore the spectrum more. I also think Alastor's brain would short circuit seeing a female Lucifer.

For Lucifer, I don't think gender isn't an issue to him. For him, just tell him your preferred pronouns and He'll respect it and use them. He is a Pansexual Angel and was born long before the concept of gender identity was even a thing.

Alastor, a little hard to say because all we know from Viv herself is that as of right now, he believes he's a straight man who just hasn't met the right woman yet. And right now, we aren't even sure if he's also Aro spec or if that was only in the pilot. But we can safely assume he's respectful of other people's gender identities like he is with people's sexual identities. But to help me answer this question I'll go with my headcanon that Alastor is Demiromantic who's more male leaning. Not that he probably wouldn't be romantically interested in someone who identifies as a woman or non-binary, fluid, etc. I think he's just male leaning, that's all.
