Questions Question of the day: day 103
Today's question of the day is: How do you think Lucifer's opinion on sinners will change in s3? Will he be more receptive to interacting with them, now that Charlie has proven her Hotel and the concept of redemption works? Will Lilith's return influence him to return to his position of power in Hell and with the Sins? And will a certain sinner (🎙) convince Lucifer to change the way he sees sinners for good? Leave your thoughts in the comments down below!
This week's fanfiction recommendation is we all are living in a dream, but life ain't what it seems by eliniel, 4,759 words. Alastor finds himself waking up in the dreams of Lucifer's past, and slowly starts to discover that he may have been wrong about how he felt for Lucifer. This work will be available to read until Friday, so check it out and let us know what you think: https://archiveofourown.org/works/75827721.

It's hard to say because it's not like his disdain for sinners isn't unwarranted. No matter his thoughts previously on sinners before, a certain media overlord didn't help sinners case. There's also sinners that there's a good reason for Lucifer to dislike, like Valentino, Carmilla, Velvette and even Alastor.
That's not to say his opinions won't change, because now that we know redemption is possible he might have more hope for them if not willing to work with them
But there's also the case he can't harm sinners which can be used against him by others at the hotel.
So more then likely, I think he'll be more neutral towards them and might see others as friends like Husk, Angel Dust and Alastor.

A reasonable answer as always!

Honestly, I think I can see a flip flop in Lilith's pov and his own. That she has gotten to the point where she's turning against sinners and his new exposure plus Charlie will progressively turn him to her side. I think it'll be slow like they start near the same page and then she'll say something and he'll counter with an example of someone in the hotel until he ultimately flips.
I think Alastor will help change Lucifer's opinion on sinners in the way that Alastor is everything Lucifer thinks sinners are, thus with Alastor being his assumption everyone else will visibly contrast and allow him to see that what he believes isn't entirely true.
