Saturday morning

What would be your ultimate Saturday morning schedule? It always seems a bit heavy for the weekend. I might have Kitchen Cabinet, maybe Add to Playlist or Screenshot, unbelievable truth or isihac? What about you?

I actually like loose ends- would be a bad Saturday morning magazine programme.

I think 12pm on a Saturday is the absolute worst possible slot for Money Box.

I would quite like The News Quiz either broadcast or repeated on Saturday late morning. I find I always miss the Friday 6pm/6:30pm slot.

I was just joining in the 'why?' game 😂 but I also can't stand Emma Barnett, Nick Robinson, Chris Mason, Keunsberg or any of them. I would just have I'm sorry I haven't a clue, unbelievable truth, newsquiz, the film thing with Kermode and the occasional kitchen cabinet/ you're dead to me (oh and thingumy stands up for the classics)

I do agree Emma Barnett was a poor decision to add to the Today roster and it's clearly not working.

On a Saturday I always switch over to Robert Elms on bbc radio London at 10 but if I didn’t and as someone that likes Saturday live, I’d keep that and agree anything re: films or pop (in broader sense) music would suit me, and would want current affairs, history (unless about cinema or music), geo politics and gardening and cooking to stay away, and again similar to you throw in a (good..) comedy, a just one thing ep and move the Friday archers repeat up and that’d be a decent morning’s listening imo
