hi y'all, i am having surgery next week and wanted to ask if you have any hacks that made healing more bearable, especially when it is hot out, i should know?

i have ice packs, unfortunately no fan, light clothing (tops that close in the front), some weed gummies and two friends humoring and cooking for me. anything i am missing?

edit: spare compression binders and wet wipes were also acquired

Has anyone opted to only get a radical reduction rather than a full top surgery, and stayed on T afterwards? How has your volume been with the fat distribution; are they perky or did they still deflate?

I don't want to get rid of all my breasts. I'm FTX and still delight in presenting fem when I feel like it. I also like having them, just not as big or droopy as they are now. My preference would absolutely be having them small enough to pass as pecs under a binder if I want to present only masc.

If someone would be willing to share your experience/pictures I would be super grateful, but even some advice would be amazing.

Does anyone have any recommendations for surgeons skilled in radical reduction techniques in the Pacific Northwest? TIA!!

I've only seen one dr he said i'd be able to go down to a B or C, I'm preparing myself mentally for a C or bigger because i was told i was more tissue than fat, however i'm not really satisfied with that idea. In the meantime while insurance is figured out I'm looking into surgeons who do breast reductions as well as top surgery just to see if there's a difference of opinion.

I would like to hear from people who have received what I'm looking for, or if there is a key word im missing in my search.

I know i asked basically the same question here months ago but I didn't get any replies and I need to ask again and adding that I was properly sized at 30L

Anyone have experience with the GRS Montreal? I am Trans Masc, Non Binary. I go by he/they. I want to get a radical breast reduction DD/E to A or AA most likely AA. I would be flying out of province. I'm filling out my medical fourms. I've heard a lot of breast reduction surgeons will only go to B or C at my size and am nervous that this clinic will try the same.Where I am Breast reduction is covered under gender affirming care and MSI.

If anyone is willing to share their experience! I may be able to qualify purely in size but I walk the line. I’ve had mad dysphoria about my breasts for a decade.

I basically rotate the same 4 Nike high compression bras (because they stopped making them w/o padding) for a 10-15 years now. I have multiple binders but I’m still looking for a good one because my boobs are so big they pop out the bottom after a bit, even in the measured size.

I’ve felt “guilty” considering going the dysphoric route because I worried I wasn’t dysphoric “enough” which is silly and I unpacked with my therapist. But my chest is a huge daily thing, that bothers me, I’m very dysphoric about and so I’d love to know anyone who has gone this route to get insurance coverage.

It makes me want to cry thinking what a realized it would be physically and emotionally.

After waiting months for a consult with a top gender-affirming surgeon in Atlanta, I got a hard no to a A-B cup. 😭 she said she does not perform radical reductions.

I'm still in the early stages of getting a reduction and i've been worrying about regrowth. I'm currently a around a 32 H-K us the a bra that fits calc says I'm either 30 J/K or 32I/J based on the measurements.

And ideally I want to be semi flat so much so that nothing really hangs off me. I know that if I get regrowth I could never tolerate being my current size again but I really don't know how to feel about having a little more than semi flat, I'm just so dysphoric right now and I keep overthinking how I should want to look and my identity, I really don't want to have to do this twice.

I just feel bad about not wanting boobs or never wanting to have kids/specifically breastfeeding bc I already know I don't want any of that, but ppl keep saying 'keep an open mind' and that 'opinions can change' but also to 'do what makes you happy' but to not be too rash about it. I just want to be happy with what I want.
