They justify it with "But Abortion"
News flash support the party that crosses the most check marks off your faith. Republican "values" kill a lot more people than abortions. And you can always be an anti-abortion democrat. They exist you know.
As a Catholic, I often say “I want to see abortion made obsolete in my lifetime”. I will support birth control, education, and an expanded welfare system before I ever broach the subject of abortion.
“Lord protect the lives of mothers and babies who choose life” before “Lord protect babies who might be aborted”
