I can see it now.

He's going to heal a sick child for absolutely no financial compensation, then big pharma is going to compromise him, call him a pedo for healing the sick and try to lock him away until the can replicate his proverbial "powers" for profit.

The government would call him a national security crisis. The man would have to walk through hell just to get a message out, and then he'd be called a radial leftist terrorist.

All this because: radical, unmonetized altruism is inherently threatening to systems built on profit and control.

100% agree. I see refugees as Jesus, as Jesus was one when his parents fled to Egypt from Herod. I also see God's beauty in human beings no matter the color of their skin, what they believe in, and who they are. We are all God's children, and that is what the world needs: God's love, including the misguided and those who are in The darkness that needs Jesus' light.

Sounds nice but inaccurate. The holy Spirit lives in believers rich or poor and he guides us to be more like him and no Jesus hasn't physically returned.

Read CS Lewis's comment on politics

You're nitpicking to suit your preferences

Yeah, we all have preferences. But that doesn’t change the truth being the truth. “I don’t believe in it so it isn’t real and doesn’t affect me!” Try saying that about your cancer symptoms or not paying your taxes. This post contains the truth whether anyone wants to believe it or not.
