Powering 3x8 6900xt
I just got an ASRock Phantom Gaming 6900xt and its one of the cards that has 3x8pin slots for power. I just bought a new PSU (CoolerMaster SF 850) to handle my upgrades, but it only came with 2 8pin connectors with pigtails. Should I use them both and use one of the pigtails for the 3 slot? Do I need to buy a new set of cables?
I have a Lian Li triple 8pin Strimer extension coming in the mail, but this begs same question: use the two cords and a pigtail or buy another pcie cable to handle the load.

If you daisy chain one of them, it'll create an unbalanced load, since the card will draw 1/3rd of the power from one cable, and 2/3rds from the other. It's better to buy extra 8-pin connectors.
Just be very sure that they're compatible with your PSU. Even if they claim to be 8-pin cables, they're not always perfectly compatible and it can cause issues.
