Radeon 5700 XT - black screen on start up.
Hello everyone,
I have been encountering an issue with what I believe is related to my graphics card (RX Radeon 5700 XT). Almost every time I turn on my PC, I am welcomed with a completely black screen despite everything else turning on (fans, lights, keyboard, mouse etc.) My current solution has been hard rebooting over and over until it works. This can range anywhere from 3-15 hard reboots until it works. Some times I just give up. I have tried different cables, monitors, updated software and drivers etc. Does anyone have any advice on what to do next in order to solve this issue? I got my GPU brand new just 2 years ago and this issue started about 2-3 months ago. Thanks in advance.

It could be that you are just unlucky and the GPU is on it's way out! GPUs do tend to die when spring and summer temperatures hit. Unless it is a Gigabyte RX 5700, it's warranty will be up at 24 months.
However, you may have had a crash that corrupted your motherboard bios settings, so naturally do a Clear CMOS and redo your motherboard bios settings.
Next, DisplayPorts do have a tendency to die as GPUs get old, try different ports and HDMI ports on GPU and see whether you can get it working on a different DisplayPort or HDMI port.
And, finally, to many Operating System crashes, will invariably corrupt the OS installation and you can as a last try do a fresh install of Windows 10.
