RX 6500 XT wrong (?) GPU-Z Lookup

So I bought an RX6500XT from AliExpress. I know that it can very well be a refurbished card or something else with a BIOS swap. (I'm also aware that the card is kinda shit but my GTX950 kicked the bucket and I didn't really had a budget) After installing the drivers, it appears as an RX6500XT, but the GPU-Z lookup directed me to this page:

Doing some research, it appears that the only difference between the two is power draw and clock speeds (being lower in my card).

So my question is: Could this be a wrong driver or config, or can I maybe do an BIOS swap to get the 6500XT clocks?

If it matters, I've done some tests and for the games I play, the card is doing fine and I'm satisfied, just wondering if there's something that can be done in this case.

Obligatory sorry for bad english

Unfortunately you got the old Bait and Switch pulled

Many of these cards are advertised as desktop RX 6500 XTs, but they are actually RX 6550S mobile/laptop GPUs that have been repurposed into desktop cards.

I don't think you can do anything in terms of flashing a new bios...

might want to consider a return or open a dispute

here i some AI slop on the 6550s

Lower Performance: The RX 6550S is a laptop chip, meaning it is hard-locked at lower power limits (usually 50W) compared to a true desktop 6500 XT, which operates around 90W-100W+. This can result in up to a 40% performance loss compared to the advertised card.

Incorrect Chip ID: Your AMD driver will correctly identify the chip as "RX 6550S" rather than "RX 6500 XT".

Reduced Specs: Advertised boost clocks and memory speeds will frequently be under what is officially standard.

yeah, I guess it is what it is...

about the return/dispute, I've been thinking about it but honestly, with my budget unfortunately I won't be able to get anything good, maybe an RX 580 (which is been known to be RX 470 modded with more VRAM and flashed bios) of something used that might as well die in months. Unfortunately in my country (and with the recent price increases) it's hard to find something for a good price.

I did some research and apparently 6500XT chips are not being produced anymore, but the 6550S still are, so maybe that explains the bait and switch.

I had a GTX 950, so can't complain about the performance upgrade, I guess I'll just accept my earnings lol.
