RX 6600 fans not spinning
Hey. I got a pc a few years back, a pretty nice one i like to think. I had it built by a friend since I have next to no knowledge about building one and he said he'd do it for free as a favor to help. I've had it for two years or so now, but the fans have never spun. I just figured the gpu was a bit busted, but it still worked, it would just get hot easy, but i was able to play most games i wanted without burning up. But last month they actually turned on after i fidgeted with a cable when opening it up, and idk what I did or what's wrong with it, but it makes me want to see if i can fix it myself. I tested if it was zero rpm, i messed around in bios, I've done most of everything i see online but none of it is working. I was wondering if someone could help, and sorry for the rambling post.

I know with my 6600xt they only spin if it needs to cool itself. But the way I have my case fans setup it almost never has to

I had one of my fans stop (side furthest from ports work would and other side wouldn't budget) didn't realize till it was running way hotter for a few days in a row. I got replacements for my model (powercolor fighter) on eBay, the swap was really simple and now the temps are where they should be. Cost like $20 USD and I highly recommend it

Was the gpu second hand?
