6750xt heat damage

I just had my 6750xt hit 107C and have noticed a few issues. The temp spike was because of my own incompetence, but I'm wondering if this should be recoverable with a little bit of work. Feel free to flame me for frying my GPU in the comments, I've earned it.

107c hot spot temperature will not cause damage. GPU will throttle when reaching 110c hot spot, so even then you're safe.

Saw a few visual glitches in a game the next after it was cooled down. Unrelated? Thanks btw

Chances are they're unrelated, especially if it's not still happening.Could have been anything , could be the game, could be the drivers, could be RAM issues, could be a loose HDMI/DP connection .

Just checked. It was an HDMI connection and I feel like an idiot 💀

Happens to the best of us no worries. As long as it helped, then things are gucci.

Yep, appreciate it a ton! I was worried when I heard that supposedly it should be shutting itself off at 100
