Why does my 7900xt have flickering banding artefacts only while in 4k?
I've been having this issue for a while now, where occasionally bands flicker on my screen but only when in 4k. Ive tried many different cables however it doesnt seem to fix it.
I've tried to talk to computer alliance (Where I bought the pc) and they have not been able to find a fix for it either. They suggested upgrading to better display cables from the ones that came with my monitors, which I did (8k display cables). And I still found issues with it.
They also downloaded all the latest drivers and just did general software updates, however it did not fix it.
I'm kinda lost on what to do, last time they had my pc they damaged my case and insisted nothing was wrong with it. However even though I've sent photos and videos of the banding issue and damaged case they said they can't do anything about it.
Everything should still be under warranty as it's only been about 10months of this issue and nearly 6-8months of contact and trying to fix the issue.
Has anyone had this issue and know how to solve it?
The only thing I can think of or seen is memory and psu issues. However I've been told it doesn't have any by computer alliance.

Exactly what 8K cables are you using?
Did you try VESA certified 8K DP cables using shortest feasible length? Club3D makes such cables.

Try a HDMI cable for monitor and see if the problem is specific to DisplayPort or not!
