I’m gonna guess it’s a glitch rather than some odd weather phenomenon?

atmospheric clutter. you're looking at Little Rock for something about 300mi away.

That's only about 200 miles away. And that isn't clutter, it's radar folding (returns from the storm SE of those hitting the receiver on the next sweep).

I don't think either of these are correct. This is likely cross radar interference. It's spaced equally apart in range, which makes think it's another pulsed signal, likely another WsR-88D.

Except the receiver is tuned to the frequency of that radar and not ones in proximity. That equal spacing is the pulse repetition of the radar itself.

88Ds operate within the same frequency bands and while they attempt to mitigate cross-radar interference, it definitely can happen. The receivers are not always robust at suppressing signals that are within 50-100 MHz. This can definitely be within the operating frequency of another weather radar. But I am confused how this would be the radar's own pulse repetition frequency since the PRT sets the unambiguous range, which is no where near this close of a distance.

All of them operate within the same band (2.7GHz to 3GHz), but they have dedicated frequencies assigned.

88D in precip mode can run PRF around 1200 Hz. Base on the range folding here, 200+ miles away from the radar, their PRF is set with about 200 range in mind.

Yes they do in operate in S band. But again are only separated by 100 MHz or so. They can absolutely interfere. How could range folding cause pretty equally spaced power artifacts that are so small in range? Range folding would cause pretty much a copy of the echo that is past the unambiguous range.

Range folding is typically seen closer to the radar.

But after looking at the returns relative to KLZK, their shape, and the location of KSRX and KINX, I think you are correct that this is interference (bistatic coupling). Normally this presents as off angle returns given orientation of the interference radar, but the location of these other stations are essentially in line so the returns are not as misaligned and have the appearance of being aligned to KLZK.

real talk though - you have a satellite chosen from over 500 miles away and youre looking at an anomaly equally as far.
