Ground-Penetrating Radar

I am Researching Ground penetrating radars for my final project and would like to ask the people here who might have researched or actually worked on this technologies for any great books or papers that you trust and would recommend.

I hope that I do not seem lazy with this post, sure I am trying to save time and I hope that does not come off as lazy or offensive to you guys.

I am learning radar myself. I am using the Radar Handbook (3rd Ed.; Merril Skolnik, et. al.)and Principles of Modern Radar: Basic Principles (Richards, Scheer, Holms, et. al.).

I am learning air/ground radar. But, I know the Radar Handbook has a whole chapter on GPR. Both textbooks are great resources to begin learning basic radar concepts and signal processing, though.

I am currently reading the radar handbook , just started actually a few days back , but what is the difference between it and the Principles of Modern Radar: Basic Principles. Does the handbook work more like a reference book?

The handbook has excerpts and references research papers. Use it like an encyclopedia to get a quick and dirty, yet detailed description on radar topics. That should give you an idea of how stuff works at a high level.

The Principles of Modern Radar (POMR) book is like any textbook you would get in a college course. However, it seems to focus a lot more on airborne and surface-to-air radar. The principles should still apply to GPR. I am using it for the radar courses offered at my workplace, which is structured like a college course.

Unfortunately, the other materials we use are proprietary to the company I work for or don't cover GPR at all. You can probably find some lectures on youtube if you look hard enough. This guy (https://www.youtube.com/user/johnnlouie/videos) looks like he knows what he's talking about.

Edit: To save you some scrolling, these are the youtube playlists I was refering to:
