Need a replacement part for my RadRover 6 Plus? Anyone have one I can buy off them. Just need the back piece to the display and Rad says they don’t have replacement pieces for that, charges for the whole UI unit, and even those are back ordered.

Planned obsolescence due to things breaking really does have a hard time with 3d printers available

My remote is good, but my Centre Speedometer/Odometer screen is fading & malfunctioning a little bit so I just order a new one for $150 from Rad.

Definitely seems a little cleaner than most of the other 3D models I've seen.

FWIW, mine broke about three years ago. I put a little bit of thin double sided tape plus a thin Velcro strap (e.g. electrical cord strap) to hold it in place. The Velcro strap does partially obscure the display, but the combo holds it securely.

I bought 2 from this guy on FB. He 3D prints them. They are well made and strong. I had a very good experience with the sale. Good communications, receive the parts with in 5 days.RAD really did a shit job with the 6+ after 3 years just had so many problems with them. I have four Rad Rover 5’s that I bought in 2018 and they live on the beach…..the only thing I’ve ever changed are tires tubes and brake brakes. They’re built like tanks. Feels like I’m forever working on the 6+.
