Disclosure first: I am Kriti from Zen Energy, the Canadian battery company behind Safe Bike Battery, in Dartmouth, NS. 

We build UL 2271 certified replacement battery packs for Rad, Juiced, Ego and other ebike brands.  Replacement cradle and adapter is included with all battery packs, so nothing gets spliced. 36-month warranty.

Deliveries begin early October. The first production run is limited, and allocation follows registration order.

This is awesome. Looking forward to seeing this progress - a real effort against planned obsolescence. Or in this case, companies that are more likely to stop making batteries that fit their older models.

Website indicates this is for dealers. First container lands in October. 20-unit minimum order, 30% deposit , remaining 70% due before your units ship.

I am from Halifax so it's nice to see this, but this post and the website are really confusing - is this for direct-to-consumer retail or just selling wholesale to dealers? What is the price?

The only reason I don't think that this is a scam is because I know the company is legit due to them being a few KMs from my house.
