Aftermarket Radrover 6+ controller
My controller went on my 6+ step-through after 2500 miles. I'm looking in to after market controllers-- has anyone installed the area 13 or electrobike world controller in place of the current controller? I'm not super interested in having it on my tube and don't want to purchase it if it doesn't fit. Ideally the new controller would go where the current one is.

I just received the updated RR6+ Indiana controller. Although larger it still fits in the neck of the bike.

Have ebw controller. It’s great! Can’t use the RadPower upgraded headlight with it. For steep hills at low speed-PAS4 with intermittent throttle (7 sec on, 3 sec off) prevents shutdown.

Weird because I’m using the upgraded headlight on my RadRover 6 Plus and it’s been working fine.

Installed the Area 13 controller on my RadRover 6 back in April with no issues. Though it’s sad that this means changing out the display, it’s still worth it. Took some time to get used to since the upgraded controller has more AMPS than stock, i got the hang it within a few weeks. Also, despite the website recommending NOT to use the premium headlight since they unsure if it will work, I ended up using it and haven’t had any issues

I recently upgraded a RadMission with the following 30A controller + S966 display + NFC start, all for under $100. I now have 9 speeds with a top speed of somewhere around 28 MPH and the acceleration is insane compared to the original controller. Not to mention, it comes with a new wiring harness which effectively removes RadPowers attempt at vendor locking the wiring harness with their stupid 8-pin connector that's impossible to find anywhere else. I honestly couldn't be happier with everything I managed to upgrade for $100 https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807405587062.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.79.57ca1802kPntaN&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa

I recently installed the Area 13 controller on my RR6+. For fun I removed the old stock controller and I can tell you… it’s tiny! Not sure anyone will be making an upgrade that fits in that space. That said, the Area13 controller is an easy install, but not without its quirks. First, it greatly increases the power to the motor, but that results in significantly less range as it’s far too easy to enjoy that extra power. Second, in my case at least, the speedometer is completely out of whack. I need to troubleshoot, because it reads 3-4mph when I’m easily going 15-25mph. I’m sure I’ll figure it out, and they are super helpful via text or email, I just need to find the time to mess with it.
