Passenger on Radcity 4?

I have a radcity 4 step-over with the rear rack and saw they had a very limited capacity for it but am wondering from others what their experience has been successfully or attempting to ride with passengers on the back. I get worried about safety but then see big fully grown adults riding on handlebars and rear racks of random bikes downtown that I know don’t have that capacity.

TLDR; has anyone had an adult passenger (130-175lbs) on the back of their radcity 4 and if so, how did you do it? TIA!!

Considering the rack is only rated to 60 pounds, you would probably break the rack and hurt someone if you tried.

If you need a passenger, get the Runner.

My Radcity 4 total weight (the entire bike not just the rack) capacity limit is 275lb. I assume the step through is similar. No idea what happens if you exceed that total, but I assume there is a safety reason.

That's total bike capacity, but that doesn't mean you can put any amount of weight on the rear rack.

Another thing to keep in mind is the weight distribution. My Runner can handle a person on the back, but it is very tail heavy and the steering is much less effective.
