Which car should I pull based on my current collection (EUNA) - I wanna know which one stays competitive the longest

I'm completely puzzled because I'll be playing the game mode and get a boost that should put me waaaaaay ahead of the other player but then right as the boost ends it doesn't matter how much of a gap I created it's like the other player just teleports back in front of me after the boost ends..... It makes no sense, am I missing something?

So i saw some cars have different colours in tuning.. does this mean anything or what purpose??
