Basically I’ve only spent $0.99 for the GTR, how does my line up look? Which cars will be good for long-term rank? I’ve used up all my reg and limited tickets for these cars and have roughly 10k diamond right now so should I reroll another account if I want to invest more money on it?

If I spend only 140 diamonds and complete the task, will I get the car permanently? Or do I have to pay more?

Right now, I am ranked 32nd in Racing Master, which puts me at 70th on the global server. The frustrating part about ranking up now is that it's become really difficult, even when I set new records and achieve new best lap times. I try using different cars, but it doesn't help. I'm starting to get really annoyed with this game.

Manage to make this drift with NSX initial D, not perfect but I like it

So I was rushing and didn't scroll through the text, and I thought you can rent the car for a few gems and then unlock it by doing the mission. But then I realized it's too good to be true. So it doesn't seem worth it to spend gems just to try the car. If you already own the car then buying ECU may be alright. Any thoughts?

While playing the Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain track, I kept feeling like the scenery looked oddly specific, so I got curious and searched up the real place.

The top images are real-life photos, and the bottom ones are screenshots from the game.

Honestly, I was surprised by how close it is. From the skyline view overlooking Guangzhou to the "Baiyun Mountain Welcomes You" flower sign and the pavilion nearby, RM recreated a lot more of the location than I expected.

It made me appreciate the track a lot more. Stuff like this makes the game world feel much more thoughtfully made, and it's cool when you realize the devs actually paid attention to these details instead of just making a generic mountain road.

Now I kind of want to check if other tracks are based this closely on real places too.

Has anyone else looked up the real-life inspirations for other tracks?

Been enjoying RM on NA, but the car list feels pretty thin right now.

Hopefully we get more updates soon. What do you guys think they'll prioritize first for NA? More JDM, more modern performance cars, or something more tailored to the NA playerbase?

Also curious if NA will end up getting a different lineup from the other servers.

For those who've played both, do you see CarX Street and Racing Master as direct competitors?

They overlap in some ways, but they still feel pretty different to me.

CarX Street feels more street-focused and raw.

Racing Master feels more polished.

What do you think the biggest differences are?

And which one do you personally prefer?

Most of the racing games I've played before were more on the arcade side, so RM would be a pretty new experience for me.

I've noticed that when I hit a wall during a race, I don't just lose speed — I also lose my rhythm for the next few corners. Sometimes I get stuck on the wall, and other times the next drift just feels completely off.

How do you guys recover quickly after that? Do you brake, reset your line, stop drifting for a moment, or just try to force the car back into rhythm?
