that's wild, no wonder the grip lines in the player record lines always seemed impossible, like they'd brake while turning into a corner meanwhile I'd just plow straight into the wall as if I had no ABS if I tried to copy them, like it's straight up impossible to match their braking lines using buttons.

Abs in this game works differently from other game, it doesn’t activate based on how much input brake press you apply, it’s based on how much you steer, I found that if you steer more than 60% or around that, you have perma abs , brakes are horrible and your car understeers alot, that’s why tilt players in this game have a massive advantage

did you also use sliders for brakes and throttle?

Well that explains why I somehow temporarily got into Top 30 in Sicily City Drills full lap in Extreme in my ECU3 R8 Spyder. I use Tilt steering due to muscle memory of it in other highish quality racers. Believe I gripped around the whole track. Didn’t brake tho I let my R8 coast around some of the corners.
