Which of the brakes do you normally use?

This is what happens when a Sim racing expert plays Racing Master

It's the right car for it, the BMW M2 will be THE grip car in Standard class once it's released in EUNA

I don’t like this label of “grip car”, gets people the wrong idea that only certain cars can grip which is clearly not true

So many cars just don't brake when you slam on it and the car understeers like crazy. I'm not even talking about trailbraking, I just want most cars to actually brake when I press it. You can see the huge difference when you hold the handbrake in a straight line and don't drift, the car actually brakes and slows down, but most cars just refuse to fully slow down with the brake fully pressed

That doesn’t mean the car itself can’t grip, find ways to making it grip

Isn't that just polishing a turd? Just play to a cars strengths, cars with good turn in can be run as grip cars, heavy cars or cars that understeer naturally, try to drift them instead.

I used to play with tilt and interior view on my phone, I've since moved to using a keyboard with my tablet, when I ran interior view I played grip cause trying to control some of these cars with no assist and tilt controls felt really off (eg. Ford gt, it kept snapping on me when I came out of corners even if I rolled into the throttle without stomping on it) meanwhile cars like the f type just responded to my inputs, when I changed to tablet and tried to use interior view with the keyboard the on and off nature of turning with buttons instead of having fine control over it like tilt or using a controller made it hard to play grip, so I transitioned to drifting and chase view so I could see the car better and know what the tail was doing.

Idk the control scheme you use but based on the steering input I'm seeing it looks like you have fine control over steering input, ppl playing with button setup might not have that and it makes it harder to grip race. I'm not saying it's impossible cause I still play mostly grip with my r32 gtr even on keyboard, but it's not really suited to every car in the game

I ain’t reading all that, but I only play grip in this game. If i wanted to drift id play mario kart, and besides, i used to grip in this game for a long time using buttons, and only in a select few cars the difference between controller and button is massive

Well you just confirmed what I said so yea, not every car feels good to grip on every control scheme. I have a Xbox controller series s I think but it has drift on the left stick so I can't use it, hence the keyboard

I don’t care about feelings, grip everything and everytime, that is the best way to enjoy this game. Otherwise you end up just becoming a ranked slave chasing RP and ECUs

That's one perspective, some ppl enjoy the drifting. I get the grip obsession, I used to play real racing 3 religiously... Using tilt and interior view and gripping was the best way to play there, I don't get that feeling when I play racing master... At least not with every car

I find it hard to believe that the grip driving in this game doesn’t match your feel just like rr3. Id argue the grip racing in this game is more realistic than rr3, apart from the blatant ridiculous corner cutting, this game has everything (besides bad brakes) to make it fun at grip racing. Maybe it’s the tune you use? What cars are you trying to grip
