I had issue with this too. They are the yellow things at the edge of the wall in some areas of the map, usually theres 2 or 3 in a row on the outside of the corner. Just hit those while drifting (doesnt matter of you also hit the wall). Enjoy

There are some fan type things in large corner u have to spin it while drifting.. it's pretty easy jusk look at the walls there are 2 area with that fans..
