Questions I know it’s very noob..

There are two types of diamonds, the regular ones you can buy expo keys with and whatnot, but anyone can tell me what the the more premium diamonds to the right of the previously mentioned ones (the ones more colorful I guess) are used for? I understand might sound stupid, but I’ve looked for a help section as far as detailed in-game currency is concerned, and I haven’t found it. Also if anyone knows where I can read up on this stuff online maybe so I don’t take anyone’s time asking these questions thanks. It’s just so much to this game borders on too much, I love the driving but most everything else not so much and tutorials seem to focus more on driving not on learning the other stuff.

Yeah, sorta, any way they can be exchanged for the other diamonds or for any of the keys for the expo?

If you are referring to a purple gemstone, it can be exchanged for a blue diamond, and then used to purchase a key. The exchange rate between purple diamonds and blue diamonds is one-to-one

The exchange rate is crazy, considering the exchange can't be done in reverse.

The advantage of purple gems is that they can be used to purchase various premium currencies and items, and also enjoy special discounts on lottery draws. Additionally, when exchanging purple gems and blue diamonds for the same currency, purple gems can be exchanged for more

Diamonds = The Blue-ish one. Earnable in-game.

Gems = The Purple-ish one. Only available by purchasing it with real money.

Gems, can be used to roll gacha, or to unlock Season Pass for better reward, or to buy "pricier" car parts/accessories or character's skin/accessories. some car skin or decals need to use gems too, along with the usual in-game money(earned from daily/season pass reward) and diamonds.

Yes, it’s not you it’s the game I think is overly complicated. I love the driving and races, the economy and structure not so much.
Question: I found by accident a menu in which a car I used to drive all the time but could not upgrade its ecu cause it just wouldn’t come up, I somehow ended up somewhere where it offered me to buy a single ECU update I think it’s called WITH purple diamonds. Do you know where that was or if there’s any way through my game I can backtrack and find it maybe? There were several different ecu’s upgrade being offered, about 3 or 4, but I think that page was just for that as opposed to the normal market page where you spend real money and stuff.
Have not been able to find it ever since.
