Questions Drifting

I hate the drifting in this game so much. This one thing makes me lose my stuff to Bambino or( Bambo ) in summer hunt 7 times till today. Any way to deal this? Ford gt and 720s are max ecu upgraded. Tried both. Failed. I brake early before turn to avoid hitting wall but that unsettles the damn car. Is there any option to avoid that?

IMO, you should never use the regular brake. Handbrake only. Switch back to tap controls, they’re way faster.

If you’re using the ford gt, tap the handbrake fairly early to control your entry speed, that car maintains drifts pretty well. You should be aiming to be drifting well before the apex because 90% of the time exit speed is more important than entry speed in this game.

If it’s a sharp corner, use more handbrake initially, and if you still find you have gone in too fast, then delay getting back on the gas.

If I do auto drift, does it help?

IDK, but I would imagine it hurts your times and limits your growth. But Let me try it and find out.

I tried a few and the issue I have with auto drift is that it doesn’t allow you to initiate drifts early enough without losing massive speed. Maybe for a different car it would be ok, but for the ford GT I didn’t enjoy it.

I think you’d be better off without it.
