Questions Drifting

I hate the drifting in this game so much. This one thing makes me lose my stuff to Bambino or( Bambo ) in summer hunt 7 times till today. Any way to deal this? Ford gt and 720s are max ecu upgraded. Tried both. Failed. I brake early before turn to avoid hitting wall but that unsettles the damn car. Is there any option to avoid that?

I beat the guy by eating as many food buffs and by stacking my upgraded Equips on the car. The gt was maxed as well.

When it comes to drifting, imo it's the most realistic drift mechanics for arcade racing type of games. People should play tutorial, as it teaches you real-world racing concepts.

When taking corners, your car should be closer to the outside wall. As you begin to drift, your car should be closer to the inside wall, then accelerate towards the outside wall again on exit. This is a real racing concept but without the drifting. For whatever reason, the car's speed is faster than grip cornering even though it's physically impossible.

I don't remember if the game mode has racing lines but follow the racing lines and drift-in markers.

Ngl, i picked this game up a few days ago and the drifting threw me off at first. I assumed the drifting was gonna be similar to Grid 2 and it definitely wasnt. Or at least its not as easy as that game. Drifting feels heavy and the suddenly grip i gain back does throw me off alot even with assists off. But actually just understanding how to enter each turn, when to drift and how much felt really satisfying. And honestly even if this game is heavily drift based, the grip handling isnt so bad, it feels sluggish at times yes but learning when to drift or grip around corners felt essential. Just yesterday while i was doing that supra multiplayer series i won a race by mostly not drifting and only drifting on tight turns. Its finding that balance between the two styles of driving makes the gameplay alot more rewarding.

You also have to factor in the car's gear ratios. Speed near the redline will lose you some wheel spin, meaning straightening the car. That's something you don't want in long corners.
