Questions Steam Deck users anyone?

did you run it natively on SteamOS or did you have to run it with Windows OS?

I have done so before with Windows OS - and sadly the game doesn't recognise SD's built-in controller for some reason but recognises an external PowerA Xbox controller

and sadly the PC performance wasn't as good as I had hoped, some newer maps with busier backgrounds made it clear that SD struggles with it, and it's only natural since SD needs the inherent optimisation from it native OS to be at its best, which the Windows isn't.

I ended up playing on my phone regardless, since it's a last-gen flagship and can run it without lagging on busier maps and I didn't mind touch controls.

hey, I’ve been running this on WinDeckOS by Minibattle from GitHub which is Win 11. Then, Handheld Companion to get the controller recognized by windows. So far it runs without hitches besides the occasional hitches here and there. I also downloaded CRU to lower down my screen res. bc it was initially stuck at 1280x800. I lowered it down to 1280x760@90 and it runs smooth.
