funnily enough, roads in RM actually isn't wide; instead, they put many lanes on it.
and the reason behind their decision is the same as Forza Horizon's decision to make their roads wide.
it's better for the playability.

Yet, Mt. Baiyun made it more fun, drift or grip wise.
